Placide Krebs 
Placide was born on October 5th, 1796 in Mobile,Spanish Territory,W. Fla.. Placide's father was Hugo Daniel (Daniel Hugo) Krebs and his mother was Louisa Leflau (LeFlore, LeFleur). His paternal grandparents were Hugo Ernestus Krebs and Marie Anne Chauvin ditte Joyeause; his maternal grandparents were Jean Baptiste Leflore and Marie Jeanne Girard. He had a brother and three sisters, named Steven (Etienne) (Esteban), Marie Josephine, Josephine, Josepha, Genevieve and Marie Ann. He was the youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 72 in May 1869 in Skullyville,Skullyville Co.,Moshulatub. He was buried in Skullyville Cemetary.General Notes
