Lord Gilbert De Clare

Gilbert was born in 1066. Gilbert's father was Richard (Strong Bow) De Clare and his mother was Rohese De Gifford. His paternal grandparents were Count Gilbert (Crispin) De Clare Of Brianne & Eu and Lady Gunnora De Aunou; his maternal grandparents were Earl Walter William Of Buckingham and Agnes Flatel. He had a brother and a sister, named Robert and Rohese. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 49 in 1115.
