Godeheut, known as Godchilde, was born in 0995.1   Godchilde's father was Count Borrel II De Barcelona and her mother was Ermensinde De Commignes Of Carcasonne.  Her paternal grandparents were Count Borrel I De Barcelona and Luitgarde De Toulouse; her maternal grandparents were Count Roger I De Commignes Of Carcasonne and Adelaide De Toulouse. She had a brother and a sister, named The Crooked and Adelaide.  She was the oldest of the three children. She had a half-sister named Sibylle.  She died at the age of 82 in 1077.1

‌Godchilde and The Spaniard, The Standard Bearer were married in a religious ceremony in 1029.1   They had two sons and a daughter, named Ralph III, Robert and Alice.
