Adelaide "Adele" was born about 0915 in Vermandois.1   Adelaide "Adele"'s father was Count Herbert II Carolingian Of Vermandois & Troyes and her mother was Princess Hildebrand "Adela Liegarde" Capet Of France.  Her paternal grandparents were Count Herbert I Carolingian Of Vermandois and Lady Bertha De Neustria Of Morvos; her maternal grandparents were King Robert I Capet Of France, Count Of Paris and Lady Beatrice (Widow Of Conrad I Of Argenau) Carolingian Of Vermandois. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Archard, Robert I, The Pious, Hugh, Eudes, Alice, Adela and Leutgarde.  She died in Bruges.1
