Diogo Velho 
Diogo's father was Nuno Velho Cabral De Travassos E Melo and his mother was Isabel Afonso. His paternal grandparents were Diogo Gonçalves De Travassos and Violante Velho Cabral. He had two sisters named Guiomar Nunes and Isabel Nunes. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Duarte Nunes Velho and Grimanesa Afonso.
Diogo and Maria were married in a religious ceremony in Relva, Ilha DE S.Miguel.
