Tareja Afonso Gato 
Tareja Afonso's father was Afonso Pires Gato and her mother was Urraca Fernandes De Bragança. Her paternal grandparents were Pedro Nunes Velho and Maria Anes; her maternal grandparents were Fernão Pires Pelegrim and Urraca Nunes De Bragança. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Fernão Afonso, Lopo Afonso, Constança Afonso and Guiomar Afonso.
They had three sons and a daughter, named Afonso Mendes De, Rui Mendes De, Diogo Domingos and Maria Mendes De.
