Agustín was born on November 4th, 1836 in Buenos Aires. Agustín's father was Santiago Adolfo Daniel Klappenbach Seibert and his mother was María Felipa Vilches Calveira. His paternal grandparents were Johann Christian Klappenbach Und Bohnestiehl and Friederike Ernestine Louise Seibert Siebert. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Félix Santiago, Carlos Lucio, Eduardo Miguel, Agustina, Carolina, Josefina Carolina and Virginia. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.-
