Isabel Rodrigues' father was Rodrigo Afonso and her mother was Mécia Gonçalves. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Pero Rodrigues, Rui, Afonso, Sebastião, Mécia Rodrigues, Beatriz Gonçalves, Branca Rodrigues and Catarina Rodrigues.
