Etienne Ier was born in 1055. Etienne Ier's father was Eudon De Penthièvre and his mother was Agnès Ou Onguen De Cornouaille. His paternal grandparents were Geoffroi-Bérenger Ier De Bretagne and Havoise De Normandie; his maternal grandparents were Alain III Congnard De Cornouaille and Judith De Nantes. He had two half-brothers named Tihern Ou Brient Ier and Robert. He died at the age of 83 in 1138.General Notes
