Jean was born about 1360. Jean's father was Guillaume Le Boiteux De Penhoët and his mother was Jeanne De Fronsac. His paternal grandparents were Alain De Penhoët and Marguerite Charruel; his maternal grandparents were Raymond V De Fronsac and Jeanne De La Marche. He had a brother named Alain. He was the older of the two children. He died in 1434.General Notes
