Clémence was born in 1130. Clémence's father was Lancelin II De Dammartin and her mother was Clémence De Bar. Her paternal grandparents were Lancelin Ier De Beauvais and Adèle De Dammartin; her maternal grandparents were Renaud Ier Le Borgne De Bar and Gisèle De Vaudémont. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Simon and Mahaut. She died at the age of 51 in 1181.-
