Aimar Taillefer was born in 1160. Aimar Taillefer's father was Guillaume V Taillefer D'angoulème and his mother was Marguerite De Turenne. His paternal grandparents were Wulgrin II D'angoulème and Ponce De La Marche; his maternal grandparents were Raymond Ier De Turenne and Mathilde Du Perche. He had a brother and two sisters, named Wulgrin III Taillefer, Isabelle and Adelmodis. He was the youngest of the four children. He had a half-brother named Adhémar V Boson. He died at the age of 42 on June 16th, 1202.General Notes
