Cosme Pereira Da was born in 1768.  Cosme Pereira Da's father was Antônio Pais De Bulhões and his mother was Ana De Araújo Pereira.  His paternal grandparents were Manuel Da Costa Vieira and Maria De Araújo Pais De Bulhões; his maternal grandparents were Tomaz De Araújo Pereira I and Maria Da Conceição Mendonça. He had two brothers and eight sisters, named Bartolomeu Da Costa, Gregório Pais De, Clara Maria Dos Reis, Maria Leocádia Da Conceição, Cecília Do Nascimento, Ana De, Antonia Vieira Da, Joana Pais De, Isabel Ferreira De and Teresa De Jesus Maria.
