Jean II Comnène 
Jean II was born on September 13th, 1087. Jean II's father was Alexis Ier Comnène and his mother was Irène Dukas. His paternal grandparents were Jean Curopalate Comnène and Anne Dalasséne; his maternal grandparents were Andronic Dukas and Maria Vladislav De Bulgarie. He had a brother and a sister, named Isaac and Théodora. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 55 on April 8th, 1143 in , Taurus, , Tur.General Notes
