John Whitley 
John was born on December 19th, 1792 in Elizabethtown Twp, Leeds, Ontario, Canada.1 John's father was John Whitley and his mother was Margaret Hagerman. His paternal grandparents were John Whitley and Mary Tucker; his maternal grandparents were John Hagerman and Phoebe Ferguson. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John, Henry, Jane and Sarah. He was the second oldest of the five children.
