Susie Alveretta Varner 
Susie Alveretta was born in 1864 in Linn County, IA.1 Susie Alveretta's father was Isaac Daniel Varner and her mother was Ruth Amelia Baker. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph W. Varner and Lucy Andrews; her maternal grandparents were John A Baker and Susan Farley. She had four brothers and five sisters, named James Nelson, Milton Emery, Ellis Arvin, Franklin Howard, Lucille Evaline, Mary Elizabeth, Isadora Arbella, Matilda Emma and Dulcie May. She was the fifth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 79 in 1943.1 -
