Matilda Emma Varner 
Matilda Emma was born on September 13th, 1866 in Linn County, IA.1 Matilda Emma's father was Isaac Daniel Varner and her mother was Ruth Amelia Baker. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph W. Varner and Lucy Andrews; her maternal grandparents were John A Baker and Susan Farley. She had four brothers and five sisters, named James Nelson, Milton Emery, Ellis Arvin, Franklin Howard, Lucille Evaline, Mary Elizabeth, Isadora Arbella, Susie Alveretta and Dulcie May. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 63 on November 14th, 1929.1 -
