Serepta Varner 
Serepta was born in 1870.1 Serepta's father was Richard Ellis Varner and her mother was Elizabeth Abagail Dye. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph W. Varner and Lucy Andrews; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Dye and Mary Porter. She had a brother and four sisters, named Joseph E., Mary Lucy, Olive, Una and Cloa. She was the third youngest of the six children.-
