Frank Arthur Varner 
Frank Arthur was born on August 11th, 1878 in El Dorado, Butler Co, KS.1 Frank Arthur's father was William Henry Varner and his mother was Nancy Emily Fitzgarrald. His paternal grandparents were John "Johnny" Varner Jr and Irena Emma Andrews; his maternal grandparents were Davis Fitzgarrald and Elnor Henry. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Lorandis James, Ancil Davis, Clarence Elze, Jesse Addison, Ollie Ray, Charlotte Irena, Nellie Alice, Ora Elvin and Lena May. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 53 on April 26th, 1932 in Los Angeles, California.1 General Notes

Frank was born in 1878 in El Dorado, Kansas. When a small boy, he moved with his parents t o Wichita, where he attended school. As a young man, he journeyed to Iowa and went into service with the Milwaukee-St Paul Railway, where he was employed for 25 years. In Marion, Iowa , Frank met Blanche Ethel Klumph. They were married in 1901 and raised four children. Nineteen years later, Frank and Blanche moved with their children to Los Angeles, where Frank went into the plastering contracting business.
