Clarence Elze Varner 
Clarence Elze was born on March 23rd, 1881 in Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas.1 Clarence Elze's father was William Henry Varner and his mother was Nancy Emily Fitzgarrald. His paternal grandparents were John "Johnny" Varner Jr and Irena Emma Andrews; his maternal grandparents were Davis Fitzgarrald and Elnor Henry. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Lorandis James, Ancil Davis, Frank Arthur, Jesse Addison, Ollie Ray, Charlotte Irena, Nellie Alice, Ora Elvin and Lena May. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 76 on August 20th, 1957 in Los Angeles, California.1 -
