Richard was born on September 10th, 1676 in Portsmouth, Newport, RI.1 Richard's father was George Sisson and his mother was Sarah Lawton. His paternal grandparents were Richard Sisson and Mary Freeman; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Lawton and Elizabeth Salisbury. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Thomas Lawton, John, James, George, Elizabeth, Mary, Ann, Hope, Ruth and Abigail. He died at the age of 76 in 1752 in , , RI.1 -
