James Sisson 
James was born on April 8th, 1656 in Dartmouth, Bristol, Mass.1 James' father was Richard Sisson and his mother was Mary Freeman. He had two brothers and three sisters, named George, John, Mary, Elizabeth and Anne. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 78 on June 15th, 1734 in Dartmouth, Bristol, Mass..1 
James and Lydia were married in a religious ceremony in 1676 in Portsmouth, Newport, RI..1 They had seven sons and six daughters, named Jonathan, Philip, Thomas, James, John, Thomas, Richard, Content, Hannah, Rebecca, Hannah, Sarah and Mary.
