Henry Jefferson Shannon 
Henry Jefferson was born on August 9th, 1861.1 Henry Jefferson's father was Aaron R Shannon and his mother was Lucinda D Markin. His paternal grandparents were Amon Shannon and Lucreid Runes; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Markin and Francis Sumter. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Thomas M, Gideon G W, Emily E, Mary M, Eliza Amanda and Francis Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at 7 months old on March 14th, 1862 in Lincoln County, Kansas.1 -
