Emily E Shannon

Emily E was born on September 29th, 1849.¹   Emily E's father was Aaron R Shannon and her mother was Lucinda D Markin.  Her paternal grandparents were Amon Shannon and Lucreid Runes; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Markin and Francis Sumter. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Thomas M, Gideon G W, Henry Jefferson, Mary M, Eliza Amanda and Francis Elizabeth.  She was the second oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 66 on July 26th, 1916.¹ 

‌Emily E and Zacharish T were married in a religious ceremony on October 10th, 1872 in Blackford County, Indiana.¹   They had a daughter named Florence Emily.
