Elias Markin 
Elias was born on December 8th, 1857.1 Elias' father was Christopher Richard Markin and his mother was Mary Wiseman. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Markin and Francis Sumter. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Charles, Thomas, Lewis, Albert, Andrew, Dorothea, Frances, Sarah and Mary. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 17 on April 18th, 1875.1
