Dorothea Markin 
Dorothea was born on January 28th, 1852.1 Dorothea's father was Christopher Richard Markin and her mother was Mary Wiseman. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Markin and Francis Sumter. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Charles, Thomas, Elias, Lewis, Albert, Andrew, Frances, Sarah and Mary. She was the oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 16 on November 8th, 1868.1
