Alexander Markin 
Alexander was born on June 10th, 1860 in Aid Township, Lawrence County, Ohio.1 Alexander's father was Charles William Markin and his mother was Delitha Jacks. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Markin and Rebecca Deckard; his maternal grandparents were Ivan Jacks and Aletha Macomber. He had five brothers named Ebenezer, Thomas G, George Washington, John Henry and Charles. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 96 in 1956 in Aid Township, Lawrence County, Ohio.1 
They had five sons and seven daughters, named George, Charles Edward, Living, Living, Living, Lusetta, Nora, Carrie, Maggie, Myrtle, Nellie Blanche and Cleora Ethel.
