Henry Pines was born on May 6th, 1869.1   Henry Pines' father was John Edwin and his mother was Eugenia Bennett.  His paternal grandparents were John Hill and Elizabeth; his maternal grandparents were Risden H. Bennett and Charity Ann Ingram. He had two brothers and a sister, named Benjamin, John Edwin Chapman III and Elizabeth Ann.  He was the second oldest of the four children.
