Abram Newton Dilley(Alva) 
Abram Newton was born on March 31st, 1856 in Aid Township, Lawrence County, Ohio.1 Abram Newton's father was Abner Dilley and his mother was Armilda Russell. His paternal grandparents were Jr. Dilley John and Elizabeth Ackland aka Eckland; his maternal grandparents were John Russell and Hannah "Patience" Rankin. He had a brother and five sisters, named Albert R., Harriet, Amissetta, Charity Ella, Sorilda Jane and Hester Ann. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 81 on November 3rd, 1937 in Parkersville Kansas.1 General Notes
