Charles Clay 
1 Charles' father was Henry Clay and his mother was Mary Mitchell. His paternal grandparents were Charles Clay and Hannah Wilson; his maternal grandparents were William Mitchell and Elizabeth Innes. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named John, John, William Mitchell, William Mitchell, Charles, Henry, Henry, Amey, Amey and Mary. He died on February 25th, 1789.1 
‌Charles and Martha were married in a religious ceremony on November 11th, 1741.1 They had six sons and five daughters, named Charles, Henry, Thomas, Matthew, Eleazer, Green, Lucy, Betty, Martha, Mary and Priscilla.
