Hannah was the administrator of her husband's estate.
In her own will, she left to each of her sons, "John, Thomas and Henry, each of them, one well-fixed gun," certainly a commentary on the times and the people.
Hannah and Charles were married in a religious ceremony in 1667 in Henrico, Virginia.1 They had four sons and three daughters, named Henry, Charles, John, Thomas, Judith, Mary and Elizabeth.

Henry Clay
Henry was born about 1672.2 He died due to "The Nattles" on August 3rd, 1760 in The Raells. He was buried in Morimont, , Virginia.3
Charles Clay
Charles was born in 1675 in Dale Parish, Chesterfield, Virginia and his baptism took place in 1675 in Chesterfield County, Virginia.1 He died at the age of 90 in 1765 in Dale Parish, Chesterfield, Virginia.1
