John Remy

John was born in 1769. John's father was William Remy and his mother was Eleanor McCarty. His paternal grandparents were Daniel A. Remy and Darcus (Darchous) Brickey; his maternal grandparents were Enoch McCarty and Eleanor MORGAN. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William R , Jr, James Timothy, Daniel, Owen, Jemima, Dorcus, Eleanor and Catherine. He was the oldest of the nine children.
