James Remy

James was born in 1715. James' father was William Remy and his mother was Catherine Asbury. His paternal grandparents were Jacques Jacob Remy and Mary Spencer Miles; his maternal grandparents were Henry Asbury and Mary Durant. He had five brothers and four sisters, named William, William, Jacob, John, Daniel A., Asbury, Mary, Catherine and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the ten children.
