John Hancock Lee

John Hancock was born in 1782 in Orange Co.,VA.  John Hancock's father was John Lee and his mother was Elizabeth Bell.  His paternal grandparents were Hancock Lee and Mary Willis. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Hancock, Thomas, Lewis W., Sarah O., Elizabeth, Mary, Lucinda and Matilda A..  He was the second oldest of the nine children. He had five half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Willis Atwell, Hancock, John Hancock, Thomas, Lewis W., Sarah O., Elizabeth, Mary, Lucinda and Matilda A..
