Hancock Lee

Hancock was born in 1781 in Orange Co.,VA.  Hancock's father was John Lee and his mother was Elizabeth Bell.  His paternal grandparents were Hancock Lee and Mary Willis. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John Hancock, Thomas, Lewis W., Sarah O., Elizabeth, Mary, Lucinda and Matilda A..  He was the oldest of the nine children. He had five half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Willis Atwell, Hancock, John Hancock, Thomas, Lewis W., Sarah O., Elizabeth, Mary, Lucinda and Matilda A..
