Joseph Hampton

Joseph was born in 1753. Joseph's father was John Hampton and his mother was Ann Croasdale. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Hampton and Mary Canby; his maternal grandparents were Jeremiah Croasdale and Grace Heaton. He had three brothers and three sisters, named David, Jonathan, John, Arenath, Sarah and Ann. He was the third oldest of the seven children.
