Roger was born about 1231 in Cwmaron Castle,Rdnrsh,WALES.1 Roger's father was Ralph De Mortimer and his mother was Gladys Dhu Verch Llewellyn. His paternal grandparents were Roger De Mortimer and Isabel De Ferrers; his maternal grandparents were Llywelyn Fawr ap , Prince of Wales Iowerth and Tangwystyl Goch. He had three brothers named Hugh, John and Peter. He was the oldest of the four children. He died before October 31st, 1282 in Kingsland,ENGLAND.1 -
