Isabel was born in 1248 in Wigmore,Herefordshire,ENGLAND. Isabel's father was Roger De Mortimer and her mother was Maud De Braose. Her paternal grandparents were Ralph De Mortimer and Gladys Dhu Verch Llewellyn; her maternal grandparents were William , VI Baron Of Braiose De Braose and Eva Marshall. She had a brother named Edmund. She was the older of the two children. She died at the age of 26 in 1274.-
