Henry I "Beauclerc" King of was born in September 1068 in Selby, Yorkshire, England.  Henry I "Beauclerc" King of's father was William I "The Conqueror" King of England and his mother was Matilda (Maud) of Flanders Queen of England.  His paternal grandparents were Robert I "The Magnificent" Duke Of Normandy and Harlette de Falaise; his maternal grandparents were Baldwin V 'The Pious' Count of Flanders and Adelaide (Adela Alix) Princess of France.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 67 on December 1st, 1135 in St. Demis-le-Fermont, Rouen, France.  He was buried in Reading Abbey.
