George W Yocum 
George W was born on September 13th, 1851 in Schuyler Co, IL.1 George W's father was Jacob Preston Yocum and his mother was Sarah Margaret Glasscock. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Preston Yocum and Nancy Keeton. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Hiram Franklin, Gustavius A, Elizabeth, Mary C and Rachel Ann. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 73 on November 29th, 1924 in Prairie City, McDonough Co, IL.1 General Notes
