Jacob YOAKAM 
Jacob was born on May 8th, 1730 in Tulpehocken Creek, now, Berks Co, PA.1 Jacob's father was Mathias Yoakum and his mother was Elinor See. His paternal grandparents were Francis Jochem and Millie Felty; his maternal grandparents were George Ludwig Zeh and Margaret Tschudi. He had eleven brothers named Francis, Felty, Valentine, Mathias, Jesse, Michael, Conrad, John, William, Henry and George. He was the second oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 50 on November 14th, 1780 in of, Hardy Co, WV.1 General Notes
