Peter was born before 1557 in Poynton, Cheshire, England. Peter's father was Edwarde Warren and his mother was Dorothy Dame Bothe. His paternal grandparents were Laurence De Warren and Margaret Leigh. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Francis, Johannes Warren, Laurence, Edward, Ethelred, Margaret, Helen, Joan and Ann. He was the third youngest of the ten children.-
