Rotrude 
Rotrude was born in August 0774 in Of, Aachen, Rhineland, Prussia.1 Rotrude's father was Charlemagne and her mother was Hildegarde. Her paternal grandparents were Pepin and Bertrada of Laon; her maternal grandparents were Gerold I of Swabia and Imma of Alemania. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Charles, Pépin (Carloman), Lothaire, Louis I "The Pious", Adélaïde(Adelheid), Bertha, Gisèle and Hildegarde. She was the third oldest of the nine children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Abbott Of Saint Quentin and Aupais Alpais.1 -
