Bertha 
Bertha was born in 0775 in Of, Aachen, Rhineland, Prussia.1 Bertha's father was Charlemagne and her mother was Hildegarde. Her paternal grandparents were Pepin and Bertrada of Laon; her maternal grandparents were Gerold I of Swabia and Imma of Alemania. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Charles, Pépin (Carloman), Lothaire, Louis I "The Pious", Adélaïde(Adelheid), Rotrude, Gisèle and Hildegarde. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Abbott Of Saint Quentin and Aupais Alpais.1 -
