Mary Isobell was born in 1843. Mary Isobell's father was Alfred E. Riley and her mother was Rachel Wiggins. Her paternal grandparents were John W. Riley and Frances Wayman. She had a brother and three sisters, named James L., Nancy Jane, Ann and Frances. She was the youngest of the five children.-
