Albert 'JOHANSSON' NYGREN 
Albert 'JOHANSSON' was born on February 22nd, 1878 in Kullelida, Sweden.1 Albert 'JOHANSSON''s father was Johannes PERSSON and his mother was Maria Kristina UNKNOWN. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Karl, Levand, Ida and Selma. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named John Sanfried, Emma Mathilda and Anna. He died at the age of 71 in 1949 in Sweden.1 General Notes

Came to America and took the name of Nygren/ As a railroader he became and en gineer. A week before Christmas (apprently in 1906), he was a engineer on the locomotive pulling 22 cars of livestock into the west Lincoln NE stockyards. About 1 1/2 miles out, a freight train ran into Albert's cars and great loss re sulted. Though the accident was not his fault, Albert nevertheless lost his job . This likely influenced his decision to return to Sweden in 1907 to marry Ma ria Larson and purchase the Kippe farm, still owned by a family member, Arvid Lennart Johansson , a second cousin of our generation and our host during visi ts to Sweden, ( trips taken by Ruby and Cedric Anderson in 1965 and 1973) Ruby is now deceased. Ruby was Gustav Sander Peterson sister) entered in these not es by Sondra Peterson wife of Rodney 05May1999) Allbert and Maria had 3 childre n some of whom may still be living
