John Sanfried was born on March 3rd, 1869 in Kullelida.1 John Sanfried's father was Johannes PERSSON and his mother was Kristina PERRSDOTTER. He had two sisters named Emma Mathilda and Anna. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Albert 'JOHANSSON', Karl, Levand, Ida and Selma.General Notes

John came to American in 1889 preceding his parents and siblings. his parents died when sisters were abt 16yrs. John sent money home to Sweden for their p0 assage to the U. S. following the death of their father. The family farm and whatever goods the had were sold prior to their leaving. We are told that ther e was a "big Party" of friends and relatives who gathered to pack food and c lothes and to see the girls off on their long trip.....by train from Herrlljung e to Goteborg, where the boarded their ship for America.
