Mary Catherine Maples 
Mary Catherine was born on March 22nd, 1855.1 Mary Catherine's father was James Gunter Maples and her mother was Ann Catherine Tate. Her paternal grandparents were Jesse Maples and Jemimah; her maternal grandparents were Jessie Thomas Tate and Isabell Sapp. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Jessie Thomas, James Alexander, Joseph Seaman, William Burl, Benjamin Crittenden, Henry Clay, Martha Isabel, Charlotte B. and Telitha G.. She was the oldest of the ten children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Russell Reno and Sarah Jane. She died at the age of 44 on October 10th, 1899 in Lead Hill, Arkansas.1 -
