Margaret was born about 1740 in ,Charles, Maryland, USA.1 Margaret's father was Phillip LEE and her mother was Elizabeth LAWSON. Her paternal grandparents were Richard LEE and Letitia CORBIN. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Hancock, John, Corbin, George, Elizabeth, Hannah, Laetitia Or and Alice. She was the youngest of the nine children. She had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named RICHARD, Francis, Phillip, Thomas, Arthur, Eleanor, Anna and Sarah.-
