Gertrude of Saxony 
Gertrude of Saxony was born in 1028 in of Schweinfurt, Unterfranken, Bavaria.1 Gertrude of Saxony's father was Bernhard II and her mother was Betrade of Norway. Her paternal grandparents were Bernhard I of Saxony and Hildegarde von Stade; her maternal grandfather was Harald II Eiriksson Graycloak. She had two brothers and a sister, named Ordulf of Saxony, Hermann of Saxony and Ida (Of Saxony). She died at the age of 85 on August 4th, 1113.1 General Notes
